Managing extended supply chains

چکیده

We address how to manage extended supply chains that lie beyond the first-tier suppliers. The suppliers have their who provide them with goods or services. While lower-tier are often not an explicit concern of focal firm, firm's performance only depends on its suppliers, but also and beyond. These much less visible may even be known firm. Our intention is bring awareness importance these capture possible strategies buying companies pursue them. Extended complex involve evolving relationships between various buyers located along different tiers chain across parts globe. several topic areas suggest emerging research focuses should considered in coming years.
